Michael Elefterakis
I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you have everything figured out.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to the individual. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, communication difficulties, and other concerns that can make life feel overwhelming or disconnected. I also enjoy working with couples who want to strengthen communication, better understand one another, rebuild emotional connection, and develop healthier ways to navigate conflict.
In our work together, we will look beyond simply managing symptoms and explore the thoughts, emotions, experiences, relationships, and patterns that may be influencing how you feel and respond today. I integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches while recognizing that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Together, we will identify practical strategies that fit your needs, build on your strengths, and work toward meaningful, sustainable change.
I understand that beginning therapy and finding the right therapist can feel vulnerable. My goal is to create an environment where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable enough to have honest conversations, including the difficult ones. Whether you are navigating a challenging period, trying to understand yourself more deeply, struggling in a relationship, or simply recognizing that something in your life needs to change, we can work together to figure out what moving forward looks like for you.
