Sean Rumschik MD

Sean Rumschik, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist and founder of Smart Psychiatric Medicine, PLLC in New York City, and former faculty member at Yale Medical School. Dr. Rumschik's practice focuses on diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning, especially the personalized medication management of psychiatric disorders.

Dr. Rumschik is experienced in treating college and graduate students, particularly with issues involving depression, anxiety, socialization, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, stress, sleep, and adjustment. He also has experience treating young professionals. Dr. Rumschik emphasizes using medications strategically and safely, and discussing the benefits and risks of treatment strategies.

The office offers extended length appointments and online scheduling. All appointments are currently via HIPAA-compliant telemedicine, so you can have appointments from your home. Note that patients must be located in New York state during each session.
