Life can be chaotic, challenging and heartbreaking, but among all of that, beautiful and awe-inspiring. If you’re reading this, maybe you’ve already read a few of these therapist bios by now, but if you’re feeling alone in life’s big questions then look no further. I take a curious, yet “no-B.S.” stance as we explore life’s intricacies and curve-balls together in the therapeutic process. My experience with adolescents, emerging adults and older adults has helped me create a flexible approach to meet my clients where they’re at. Whether I am working with you, your child, or your family, I strive to create a judgment-free zone for my clients to experience the most authentic version of themselves. I lean on a client-centered approach, meaning that I give my clients the space to be the expert in their own lives. Through mindfulness and dialectical behavioral therapy, I help my clients to practice gaining distance from overwhelming thoughts, feelings and emotions. That being said, I recognize that there is no “one size fits all” approach and I collaborate with my clients along every step of the journey. Showing up to therapy isn’t always easy, and I value the courage and vulnerability that it takes to invite someone into your inner world. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, loneliness, OCD, depression, grief, heartbreak, or a case of “what does it all mean” you won’t be at it alone. Much like the contradictions we encounter in life, the work we will do together will be challenging yet rewarding. I’m currently accepting both virtual and in-person sessions and look forward to hearing from you!
Hi I'm Anna. I'm experienced in therapy/coaching with Neurodivergent young adults and folks living with Disability/chronic illness. I know how feeling misunderstood and other-ed can be deeply challenging, especially if you navigate the world with a unique set of experiences or marginalized experiences. I know what it's like to navigate the world from that position, especially with regards to Disability, Neurodivergence, Queer identity, and complex trauma. I honor my clients' lived experiences and cultural contexts that they come from, tailor my approach and range of therapeutic tools to fit you and your needs, not the other way around. My clinical practice involves an eclectic range of tools and modalities tailored to your needs with a person-centered, trauma competent, Neurodivergent-Affirming, and feminist foundation - along with DBT, Internal Family Systems, AEDP, attachment-based, relational, mindfulness/meditation, and more. I provide psychotherapy, life & communication coaching. I work to empower folks through self-compassion, clarity, tangible tools to encourage growth, and affirming care that meets you where you are with an understanding of how marginalization and identity intersect with our wellbeing and bodyminds. I specialize in working with adults experiencing difficulties such as depression and anxiety, interpersonal challenges, professional issues, and identity and self-esteem concerns. Our therapists are specially trained to address the roots of trauma and provide the tools to approach everyday life with a positive attitude and a peaceful mindset. Everyone’s healing journey is different, and we pride ourselves on an approach that includes cultural sensitivity to individual situations. Therapy can be hard, we understand. This is why our goal is to make it fun, relatable, and something you want to keep doing. Using a relaxed conversational approach, we help our clients get to the root of their struggles and find true healing.
Some days you’ve got it together. Other days, it feels like everything’s falling apart—classes, friendships, dating, or just trying to keep up. If stress, anxiety, or feeling down is making it tough to focus, connect with people, or feel like yourself, you’re not the only one. Therapy gives you space to talk it out—no pressure, no judgment—so you can figure out what’s really going on and start feeling more grounded and confident. I bring warmth, creativity, and a sense of humor into the room, because therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time. If you’re ready to feel a little lighter—and a lot less alone—let’s get started.
Psychotherapy is a co-created experience between the therapist and client. For over 20 years I have had the honor of working with people who feel stuck in their lives, whether it be their jobs, their relationships, or perhaps in some part of their identity. By bringing non-judgmental curiosity to our work together, it is my goal to create a safe and welcoming space within which we can explore the patterns of behavior that may not be serving their purpose anymore. I enjoy working with teens and adults, providing them with support to be their most authentic selves. My experience as a middle school counselor afforded me the opportunity to work with children and their families during an often very tumultuous time. It is there that I developed an interest in gender and sexuality development and I have worked with many families whose child has undergone a social transition regarding their gender identity. I consult with schools on how best to support children socially transitioning, and give workshops to teachers & professionals on how to create more inclusive classrooms. I also have extensive experience working with children with learning disabilities. In addition to my work as a clinical social worker, I am a sexuality educator and am pursuing a PhD.

You’ve always been the one who holds it all together — dependable, driven, the go-to person when others need support. But lately, it might feel like the pressure to succeed is coming at the cost of your peace. You’re not alone in that feeling. I work with students who appear to be doing “just fine” on the outside, but underneath are carrying anxiety, self-doubt, and the weight of high expectations. Together, we’ll create space to explore how your past experiences, values, and internal narratives are shaping the way you move through the world — and gently question whether those patterns are still serving you. Therapy with me is relational, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. You don’t need to show up with the perfect words or a clear goal — just a willingness to begin.
