My mission is to cultivate healthy, resilient, and connected athletes, coaches, and communities through trauma-informed, whole-person well-being. As a proud first-generation Korean-Filipina American, my journey as a former elite athlete and two decades as a psychotherapist shape how I approach personal growth and transformation. My approach integrates psychodynamic with trauma-informed, meditative, mindfulness, and mastery performance development for comprehensive healing and optimal performance. I’ve built my practice across New York City’s public, nonprofit, and private sectors, providing specialized training at institutions like NYU Medicine and Health and Hospitals while mentoring emerging practitioners from Columbia, NYU, and other leading programs. My experience as a first-gen Woman of Color, athlete, and parent enriches my therapeutic approach. Los Angeles born, New York City nested, I bring bi-coastal energy to my work, including co-hosting “Hahnacity”—a podcast focused on healing through storytelling—with Joy Hahn Silva Millora, former elite gymnast and now coach. Whether I’m cheering for the Lakers and Dodgers or connecting with “The Steam Room” community, I live the connection between athletic mindset and psychological well-being.

Welcome to Soul Sync Health! We are a psychiatrist-led, trauma-informed practice in New York dedicated to providing evidence-based care for students and young adults. Many of the individuals we work with share a common feeling: on the outside, they seem to be "handling it," but on the inside, they are running on fumes. Whether you are navigating the pressure of being a high-achiever, feeling the weight of "imposter syndrome," or struggling to find your identity outside of academic or family expectations, you aren’t alone. We believe that your mental health cannot be separated from the world you live in, which is why our work is rooted in the understanding that your race, gender, sexuality, and cultural background deeply shape your lived experience. We invite your whole self into the room, acknowledging that systemic barriers and identity-based struggles are often at the heart of the stress you carry. We’ve found that our clients thrive best in a space where they don’t have to "perform" or explain away their cultural values. If you’re tired of being told to simply "practice self-care" while your plate remains overflowingly full, we offer a different, culturally responsive approach. Our practice is a judgment-free zone where we help you untangle the "mental fog" of anxiety, code-switching, and decision fatigue. By breaking down big, overwhelming feelings into smaller, manageable pieces, we work together to move you from a state of constant survival to a place of genuine, grounded confidence. We strive to provide care that is curious rather than presumptive, meeting you with the validation you deserve as you navigate the complexities of your unique identity. Our ultimate goal is to help you build a life that feels authentic to you, not just one that looks good on paper. We work best with those who are ready to look beneath the surface and explore the roots of their stress, building sustainable tools that last long after graduation. At Soul Sync Health, we prioritize a collaborative approach that honors your perspective and helps you dismantle the internal and external pressures holding you back. You don’t need to have the "right" words or a perfect plan to start; you just need to show up as you are. We’re here to help you find your own rhythm in the middle of all the noise.

On the surface, things look fine, but inside you might feel tired, anxious, disconnected, or unsure of what’s next. You’ve tried to manage it on your own, but the same patterns keep showing up in relationships, work, or how you talk to yourself. I work with adults ready for meaningful change, who are navigating stress, burnout, relationship challenges, or life transitions. Together, we’ll uncover what’s holding you back and build tools to help you feel grounded, confident, and connected. My approach is active, collaborative, and practical. I bring warmth, humor, and curiosity to the work while helping you explore what’s underneath the surface and create the shifts you want. I draw from evidence-based methods including CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy but I’ll always tailor our sessions to what works best for you. I offer virtual therapy for adults across New York State. Kelly Solis is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York. She has more than 10 years of experience working in the social service and behavioral health field. Throughout her career, Kelly has worked with various populations in a number of different settings. Currently, Kelly provides individual psychotherapy to adults who are struggling with symptoms of depression, anxiety and panic, grief, or stress. Many of Kelly's clients experience feelings of sadness and low mood, sleep difficulties, low energy, trouble with concentration; as well as, feelings of anxiousness and worry, difficulty relaxing, and feelings of restlessness. She also provides support to those experiencing difficulty coping with life transitions, loss, relationship issues/conflict, work stress, and trauma. Kelly’s approach to therapy is client centered and strengths based. Kelly helps clients identify how certain patterns of behavior or unresolved traumas can impact their functioning in the present. Using CBT concepts, she educates clients on how one's thoughts can influence their feelings and behaviors. For those experiencing stress, Kelly works with her client to identify what is contributing to their distress and explore ways to improve coping, so that those stressors become more manageable. Kelly takes pride in meeting clients where they are and fosters a space where clients feel heard, safe, and where judgement does not exist. During the intake, Kelly will utilize that visit to gather information to understand the client's history and set goals together. She may assign homework which can help clients become more insightful as they move through the therapeutic process. Clients often leave sessions feeling relieved, understood, and overtime notice a reduction in symptoms. Whether it's your first time pursuing therapy or you're familiar with the process, it's important to choose someone who is a good fit and that meets your needs. Everyone deserves to have a space where they can be their authentic selves, express their feelings, receive unbiased feedback, and where they feel supported. I understand personally how challenging it can be dealing with stress, depression, anxiety and other life issues, which helps me relate with clients on a deeper level. There's a life saying that I love which is "Grow through what you go through." If you are in need of support or looking to foster change and growth, please feel free to contact me for a free phone consultation.

Hello, I have a general psychotherapy practice that is focused on helping people with topics that are relevant to college and graduate school students. The following are some of the issues that clients share with me. Managing the transition from living at home to being at school. Feeling successful in classes and in social life. Handling relationships such as with family and romantic partners. Preparing to leave school for a career. And, staying on top of mental well-being. Do any of these topics resonate with you? If so, great! If not and you want to see if I can be of help anyway, then feel free to reach out. Please contact me by phone or by email to set-up a moment when we can initially discuss your interest in therapy.

I work with college students by offering a safe and supportive space to talk through the ups and downs of this stage of life. Sometimes we use creative tools to help express feelings, and other times we just focus on conversation. My approach is always collaborative, and I’ll meet you where you’re at—whether that means exploring new ways to cope with stress, building healthier relationships, or simply having a space to sort through what’s on your mind.

I tend to work best with college students and young adults who look “high-functioning” on the outside but feel overwhelmed on the inside. Many of the students I see are smart, reflective, and trying hard — yet struggling with anxiety, mood swings, burnout, panic, or a constant feeling of pressure to perform or hold everything together. You might feel stuck between who you were expected to be and who you’re becoming. You may overthink conversations, feel emotionally exhausted, struggle with motivation, or feel disconnected from yourself or others. Some students I work with have experienced past stress or trauma that still shows up in their body — through anxiety, sleep issues, emotional shutdown, or feeling on edge — even if “nothing bad” seems to be happening now. In therapy, we move at your pace. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear goal right away. My approach is supportive, curious, and collaborative — focused on helping you understand what’s happening beneath the surface and develop tools that actually feel usable in real life. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, feel less alone, and build steadiness during a demanding and uncertain chapter of life. I will be getting credentialed with additional insurances and accepting private pay-please feel free to check back or reach out if you have any additional questions or concerns.

Hi, I’m Ryan! I'm a psychotherapist and academic. I’ve worked extensively with therapy clients who are actively pursuing highly specialized training and completing high-stakes projects (e.g., dissertations, books, films). I've also helped many people who feel uncomfortable in social situations and who struggle with procrastination and perfectionism.
