I am a licensed professional counselor and have been in practice for over 10 years. I want to acknowledge how uncomfortable or scary it can be to reach out for help and engage in therapy. My goal is to make therapy welcoming and approachable. I am experienced working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use as well as other concerns. I also work with couples. Often, we feel stuck. Stuck in our relationships, our jobs and with ourselves. I believe therapy can help us become unstuck and free us from patterns that are causing pain and distress. Please feel free to reach out to me, we can chat and decide if working together feels like a good fit.

My work is to walk with people in liberatory practices that allow us to return home to ourselves, our communities, and our place in this world. I aim to embody an orientation toward collective liberation. The mental health industry is deeply influenced by white supremacy, capitalism, and colonialism. As a white, queer, gender-resistant, liberation-oriented therapist, I aim to disrupt and dismantle those oppressive systems as they exist within me and in the larger society. I incorporate decolonial, abolitionist, and transformative justice frameworks into our work as we meet one-on-one or in many relational configurations. In addressing the overwhelming effects of systemic inequities and intergenerational traumas, our work together explores how oppressions and intergenerational traumas factor into one’s lived experiences and understandings. This includes the ways that these experiences manifest in our lives as anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns we carry.

I have experience supporting adolescents and young adults struggling with relationship challenges, stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, emotion regulation, life transitions/adjustments, and adoption. It would be my privilege to come alongside you as you explore, identify, and work to resolve the root of your challenges, as you author new narratives for yourself and your experiences, and as you develop skills for relief and resilience. I work from an attachment and trauma-responsive lens. I am trained in Brainspotting and am a Certified Grief-Informed Professional. My approach is eclectic: I draw on skills from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), experiential therapies, narrative therapy, and somatic therapy.

Virtual intensives and process groups in Oregon for people navigating existential overwhelm, relational disconnection, and (re)discovering what actually matters when the world is falling apart. It’s hard to feel connected to yourself and what really matters when the world is on fire. You try to focus on what feels most important to you, but that sometimes feels meaningless or impossible. It is exhausting being on-edge and feeling dissociated from yourself and others all the time! You want to understand yourself more, improve your relationships with others, and experience true meaning and purpose. Most importantly, you just want to feel like you're in control of your life again. As your therapist I combine my training in emotionally focused, interpersonal, and existential-humanistic approaches to support folks navigate issues of identity, existential overwhelm, anxiety and mood disorders, and relational concerns. I create a space where you can explore, navigate, and overcome your distress to feel more authentic in and in control of your life. It turns out living through the apocalypse can be pretty terrifying and overwhelming, but the good news is you do not have to do it alone. I look forward to hearing from folks motivated to explore what is most important to them, and what gets in the way of them pursuing it. I offer virtual individual intensives and group therapy.

Are you struggling with up and down moods? Are you having bigger reactions to things than you feel makes sense? Is it hard to trust people? My therapeutic style is integrative with an IFS (Internal Family Systems) lens. I am interactive, transparent, and engaged with my clients. I trust you know yourself best, and honor that. I provide a compassionate presence as I help you to gain a better perspective around your current life struggles, and how the past has informed those struggles. My goals are to provide coping strategies, ways to navigate interpersonal struggles, and the ability to access more inner peace. My areas of specialty are in trauma, Bipolar and Mood Disorders, and difficult adjustment reactions.. IFS is empirically validated, and is powerful for working with trauma. I have my level two training completed in IFS. I also did an in-depth training group with Dr. Jim Phelps, a national expert in Bipolar Spectrum Disorder. I can see anyone in Oregon since I have a Telehealth only practice, and I bill insurance. Call me today to schedule a free 15 minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you.

I offer a warm, relational style of therapy. My primary goal is to learn what has happened to you and how it affects your life now. I believe you can gain personal insight, a different perspective, and make changes to improve your life. I specialize in working with people who have experienced trauma - single incident to complex childhood trauma, substance use issues, consensual non-monogamy, addictions, and gender exploration. EMDR and IFS are used to reduce symptoms and build your inner strength. I use other modalities to help you develop tools to soothe your system and empower yourself. We are going on this journey together and anything that happens in therapy is only with consent of both parties. Therapy can be fast or slow, you determine the pace.

Wanting to implement change in your life or relationships can feel challenging and overwhelming. Acknowledging that we are in a place where talking to a therapist seems helpful is an act of courage and also provides some relief that we are taking steps to help ourselves with the difficulties that arise in life. I believe we all story our lives against the backdrop of our personal discourse, family discourse, and societal discourse. Some of the stories we identify with have been beneficial yet others have been less helpful or even hinder us to reach the happiness and contentment we seek.

We move through our days like houses filled with locked rooms, some we have never entered, some we have sealed off ourselves. We tell ourselves stories about why we cannot move forward, about the things that press against us—unseen but insistent. And yet, no one is truly alone. We are shaped by the hands and voices of others, by the echoes of what was said and unsaid. Change, is not a solitary act. My work is to sit with you in the quiet, to help you unlatch the doors, to sweep away the dust and debris of what holds you back. You do not need to become someone else—only to step fully into yourself. I also specialize in guiding those with ADHD through the labyrinth of daily life and helping people find clarity in their careers.
